    NHSTE is excited to announce a summer
    NHSTE & iste+ascd

    professional learning collaboration . . .


    As part of NHSTE’s partnership with iste+ascd we are offering NHSTE members the opportunity to sign up for Virtual GenAI Courses designed by ISTE.

    iste+ascd is offering two virtual course options:

    • 5-hour Virtual GenAI self-paced course that is offered on a rolling basis
    • 15-hour Virtual GenAI guided course with scheduled sessions with deadlines for assignments.

    Please note that iste+ascd is offering scholarships to participate in both courses.  The AI course scholarships are offered as part of a larger project with grant funding.  iste+ascd expects that most all NH educators will qualify for grant funding. This 5-hour course is only available through scholarship and is not available for purchase. Interested educators apply through iste+ascd.

    Course details ~ 5-hour self-paced format:

    The 5-hour self-paced course guides educators through practical applications of AI in teaching and learning. Participants explore current AI tools, develop implementation strategies, and learn best practices for enhancing instruction through AI technology. Upon course completion, participants receive a certificate of completion with the course hours listed. The 5-hour course has a six-month window for completion once an educator registers.

    Note: The 16th question in the application asks, “Which organization shared this opportunity with you?” Make sure to write in NHSTE. The last question in the application asks, “If you were referred by an ISTE partner, please choose which one." ~ make sure to select NHSTE.

    Audience: 

    • All K-12 educators and administrators are invited to attend.


    Cost: 

    • NHSTE Premium & Basic Members: FREE if you meet the *selection criteria 
    • *iste+ascd expects that most all New Hampshire educators will meet the selection criteria


    Registration Deadlines: 

    • Register online by December 31st
    • Complete the 5 hour workshop modules within 6 months of registering

    of the 2025/26 school year ~
    "cooked up" for you by Caitlin Bennett!!!

    Each month, NHSTE presents a 30-minute in depth review of just ONE tech concept or resource to help you!

    More details to follow on the topics and LITTLE BYTES "chefs" for the fall of 2025!  

    • November 4th Code & Connect: Collaborations to Implement Ozobot Evos by "chef" Caitlin Bennett
    • December 2nd TBD by "chef" Charley Suter
    • January 6th TBD 

    Curriculum connections with Ozobot Evo are endless. Whether it’s screen-free or block coding, students can learn programming and use Evo for all content area learning. Join Digital Learning Specialist Caitlin Bennett as she jumps into Ozobot resources and discusses how she was invited by a STEM teacher to implement the bots.

    Each LITTLE BYTE generally includes a 20 minute overview that includes 3 ideas, tips, or tools you can use immediately then concludes with 10 minutes for Q&A and sharing.

    Attend live 4 LITTLE BYTES between September 2025 and July 2026 to receive a Certificate of Participation for 2 hours of professional learning.
